The traditional power version of Plug-In Raceway consists of an extruded aluminum backplane with an insulated strip containing copper busbars. The aluminum extrusion acts as a 100 percent ground path, and each housing section is enclosed by a number of cover pieces and plug-in modules.

Each section of the power & data Plug-In Raceway consists of a two-channel extruded aluminum housing. The power channel contains an insulated strip containing copper busbars. The second channel—the data channel—provides a safe, hidden cavity to run all Datacom cables. The aluminum extrusion acts as a 100 percent ground path, and each housing section is enclosed by a number of cover pieces and plug-in modules.

The Cabinet Busway Series was specifically developed to offer flexible power that can accommodate high density power requirements within server cabinets. Installed in your cabinet or rack, each unit comes with a corded plug and modular backplane where you have the ability to select the plug-in units to meet the equipment needs of servers, storage arrays, network gear, or other devices installed in the cabinet. The Cabinet Busway Series also offers optional metering functionality for those interested in monitoring and improving their energy efficiency.
